DCGreeks.com Member needs your help to make her cousin an 'Island Idol'

Dear DCGreeks.com visitors,

Click here to vote for Carol Sarantis for WBLI-FM's Island Idol.
DCGreeks.com member, Eleni Sarantis (left), needs your help to get her cousin, Carol Sarantis (right), voted WBLI-FM's (Long Island, NY) "Island Idol".

I would like to ask for your support in helping my cousin, Carol Sarantis, become the opening act for Michelle Branch, Lisa Marie Presley, Shaggy, Play, Nivea, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Lasgo, Nick Lachay, & La Bouche on Sunday, May 25th, 2003, in WBLI-FM's Summer Jam Concert at Jones Beach in New York!

Out of 500 contestants and 30 second auditions, judges picked my cousin, Carol Sarantis, to be in the Top Ten. Now it is up to people to vote for her on the Internet and two contestants get voted off each Sunday night. She has already made it to the Top 5! The contest though is getting tougher and tougher each week!!

Many of you are already helping, but we need more help by going to http://wbli.com and clicking on the ISLAND IDOL link. There you not only can vote for Carol, but listen to her audition and hear for yourself how amazing she really is.

For many of you who know her, I really don't have to say much about her-- she is pretty amazing -- but for those that don't, she has a personality of no other. She is the sweetest girl and can definitely brighten up a room. She is constantly performing to others or just to herself, and can dance you the moves of just about any music video. Singing is her passion, and I know as well as our family does, that she won't give up until she makes it!

I think this could be her big break! Not only does she get to be the opening act, but she gets a backstage dressing room, a limo, a makeover, and a $1500 Scholarship package including a photo shoot with a top Los Angeles photographer, commercial training with a top Los Angeles coach, and casting and management opportunities in New York and Los Angeles.

So, please vote for Carol on http://wbli.com each week starting with this week until May 5th when the winner has been chosen, which we're hoping will be her!

Thanks a lot, and feel free to e-mail me with any questions at [email protected].

Thanks!

Eleni Sarantis
