I'm a pro chef and writer from Washington. My grandfather is from the Peloponisos and my grandmother is from Kriti. I'm Founder and Director of Crete's Culinary Sanctuaries, a certified eco-agritourism program in Crete, Greece. My work and articles focus on culture, sustainable organic agriculture, cuisine and environmental issues. It's been an ongoing and challenging effort to create and help promote action programs to preserve Crete's culture, nature and culinary heritage...what's left of it.
