This summer's 2004 Athens Olympics is going to be unique event in the modern series of the games. It has already focused world attention on the games' birthplace and tradition, and brought to the fore ideals such as the Olympic truce.

In order to celebrate this historic event, The Hellenic Society Prometheas organizes a concert with selections of classical and contemporary music by renowned composer and Louisiana State University professor Dinos Constantinides. His compositions are inspired by Greek themes, and include a piece dedicated to the 2004 games to be performed for the first time.
