The Susan G. Komen Global Race for the Cure™ is a 5k run/fitness walk, now in its 25th year. The annual event raises awareness of the breast cancer movement by celebrating breast cancer survivors, and honoring those who have lost their battle with the disease, while also raising millions in research dollars.

It's a global phenomenon that includes 13 international Races for the Cure.

Let's join our friends and family in Greece who have been part of the Susan G. Komen Global Race for the Cure™ since 2009. Susan G. Komen™ partnered with Greece through the Pan-Hellenic Association of Women with Breast Cancer "Alma Zois" to organize the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure™ in Athens. Greece's participation has been growing ever since, with last year bringing out a record number of 15,000 people for the fifth Greek race celebrating 700 breast survivors and maintaining awareness of the disease. Let's build a Greek-American contingent too, starting this year.
