Byzantio's Protomayiotiko Weekend 2015: Greek Folk Dance Workshop with Kyriakos Moisidis
As part of its Protomayiotiko Weekend, the Byzantio Greek Dance and Cultural Arts Program is proud and honored to host its second Greek folk dance workshop with guest instructor from Greece KYRIAKOS MOISIDIS Kyriakos has organized hundreds of performances in Greece and abroad while continuing his research into village traditions and dances. Currently he teaches four dance groups and also teaches dance at the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki.

Meletis Charuhas Center at St. Katherine Based in the Greater Metropolitan DC area, Byzantio teaches its participants the art and history of Greek folk dance, song, music, and costume as well as prepare them for opportunities to share and perform to the local community and beyond.
