HELLENIC YOUTH TRIBUTE
"United We Stand As One Voice In Support Of Our Nation"

The Sons of Pericles, Maids of Athena, Young Adult League of New York, and Hellenic university students from around the nation invite you to attend a Hellenic Youth Tribute on Saturday, December 1, 2001, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Stathakion Center in Astoria, N.Y. The Ceremony will be conducted in honor of the victims of the September 11th tragedy. This event provides a forum for Hellenic youth and young professionals to voice their support and express their feelings. The entire Hellenic community is encouraged to attend and unite in our efforts to support the families that lost loved ones.

The Hellenic Youth Tribute will provide a means to participate in the recovery efforts through prayer and presence. The program will include a spiritual blessing offered by His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios as well as singing, poetry readings, musical performances and a candlelight remembrance vigil. The symbolic artwork expressing the feelings of Greek Orthodox Sunday School children will also be on display. All those interested in participating in the program are encouraged to contact Nick Livaditis at (917) 418-3048 or via e-mail SOPSupremePres@ aol.com.

For more information please contact Anastasia Stogiannis, Director of Youth Affairs for the Sons of Pericles and Maids of Athena @ (202) 232-6300 ext. 205 or via e-mail [email protected].
