HOSTAGE [Omiros] A film by Constantine Giannaris. AFI's official selection.

The true story of a bus hijacking in northern Greece provides the inspiration for this intense drama, which centers on the issue of contemporary Greek-Albanian relations. Through a series of flashbacks and heated interactions between the hijacker and his hostages, the director takes the audience on a harrowing trip, not only through the Greek countryside, but also through the complicated reasoning behind the hijacker's desperate, extreme actions.

Monday, November 21 at 9:15 p.m. and

Tuesday, November 22 at 9:15 p.m.
