Shenandoah Valley Hot Air Balloon & Wine Festival (approx 3 miles East of Winchester). We plan to car pool and arrive by 11am, just when the wine tasting starts! Festival takes place from 7am-5pm, for those who wish to meet us there. Admission is $5/ person or $20/ carload. For wine tasting you must have ID and buy a wine glass at $5/ glass, which you use all day. The festival will have over 35 hot air balloons (cost to ride is $150/ person if anyone is interested), wine tasting, art/ crafts, mansion tours (Famous 18th century Greek Revival Mansion furnished with 17th & 18th century furniture), entertainment, food.
