LENTEN PROJECT: DC FOOD BANK - On Saturday, April 16, 2005, the YAL of St. Sophia, as well as members of other Orthodox Churches in the metro DC Area, will be meeting at St. Sophia's to help the good folks at the DC Food Bank. Please join us in this exciting and rewarding project that will provide fun, fellowship, and a good deed during Lent. Please meet no later than 12:15 pm on the front steps of St. Sophia's (corner of Massachusetts Avenue and 36th Street, NW, DC ) from where we will be car pooling to event site. The project will last from 1 pm to 4 pm and will occur rain or shine.
