Third Thursday Greek Young Professionals Happy Hour -- 4/16/26 at Carpool in Arlington, VA! Click here for details!

Δεύτερη Δευτέρα and St. Katherine's Gyro/Souvlaki Booth Volunteer After-Party

When: Monday October 8, 2007
7:30 PM
Where: The House of the Chronis Brothers
1145 N. Vernon St.
Arlington, VA  22201
Minimum Age: 18
Please join the St. Katherine YAL on Monday, October 8th, for our monthly charity and social event beginning at 7:30 PM.  To celebrate the end of our Fall Festival, this month's Sandwich-making for the Homeless will be combined with a Thank You Party for all our Gyro/Souvlaki booth volunteers and will take place at the home of Aristotelis and Themistocles Chronis in the Ballston neighborhood of Arlington.

Please bring two or three loaves of sandwich bread and two or three packages of deli meats and cheeses for the sandwich-making event.  If you don't have time to go to the supermarket after work on Monday, please write to Aris Chronis at
[email protected] by 5:00 P.M. on Sunday afternoon and let him know how much you want to contribute and he will purchase sandwich-making items on your behalf.

The Chronis Brothers live at:
1145 N. Vernon St.
Arlington, VA  22201

Their house is one quick block in from the corner of Glebe Rd and Washington Blvd, and a 5-minute walk from the Ballston Metro station.  Street Parking is allowed after 5:00 PM, but may be in limited supply.

In addition to watching Monday Night Football (Dallas at Buffalo), the YAL will be hosting a cookout complete with an assortment of grilled items, a hot tub, and multiple TVs for indoor and outdoor viewing -- including a 42" plasma and a projector for outdoor viewing.  If you plan on attending, please send an email to
[email protected].  RSVPs are not required, but are appreciated so we know how many people to expect.

Deuteri Deutera is a great way to meet new people and help the less fortunate members of our community at the same time.  Please help the YAL help the homeless.

May God bless you with His love and forever keep you in His grace.
