The Hellenic Society Prometheas Presents A GREEK MUSICAL EVENING With the following accomplished Greek professional musicians performing for the first time in the Washington Metropolitan area: Kostis Kritsotakis Composer/pianist, music director of the Odyssey School of Wilmington, Delaware. Performing original compositions for mandolin Dimitris Marinos Mandolin and bouzouki virtuoso with rich international career. Katerina Rokkou Soprano, performing a wide repertoire of Greek songs The variety musical program of about two hours will include: Old Eptanesian music and serenades, Rebetika, (Tsitsanis, Kaldaras, Papaioannou and others), Familiar popular music, Concerto for mandolin, Greek contemporary music (Theodorakis, Hadjidakis, Xarhakos, etc).
