First, thanks to all for the great turnouts the past few months. Let's keep the energy going! This month's Third Thursday will be held at Vermillion. Yeah, a place named after a color. Not just any color. The color splashed on the cheeks of triumphant Roman generals. A color so snazzy, even the 64 pack didn't have it* So, it has a lot to live up to... and it does, while still being casual, low key, and friendly. We'll meet at the bar. Specials announced at the update.* Not that your Dad would buy it - "Who needs nine kinds of green. Americans throw their money away."Vermillion is a Washington Post Editor's Choice: http://tinyurl.com/TT0309Vermillion / 1120 King St. / Alexandria, VA 22314 / (703) 684-9669 URL: http://www.vermilionrestaurant.com/Metro: King St (Blue and Yellow Lines) - walk .4 mile E Parking: Side streets and two nearby private lots at 1101 King and 112S Henry and a city garage at 117 N Alfred (3 min walk) Hood: Old Town Alexandria (Not that one, the local one) Starts at 7pm; you must be 21. Sincerely, George, Eleni, and Tia Third Thursday provides young (single and married) Greek-Americans, Greeks, and Cypriots in the DC area a chance to meet in an informal setting. It really is that simple. Whether you are in school or in a job, or somewhere in between, DC native or transplant, you are welcome. You don't even have to live in the area -- If you find yourself often in DC, get on the list. Add yourself to the mix. There is no cover charge and the organizers, Eleni A., George P., and Tia L. do not receive any remuneration for their efforts. Don't Drink and Drive! And don't forget that St. Patrick is our saint too!
