Men's and Women's YAL Basketball Tournament

Minimum Age: 18

What: Every year, young adults from Greek Orthodox Churches come together for a weekend of basketball. Everyone is able to create his or her own team. Team participants do not have to be from the same church. The only requirement is players must be at least 18 years old and a member of a Greek Orthodox Church. All information is posted on www.DCGreeks.com/YALBasketballTournament.

Wednesday, January 6th (Optional):
11:00 a.m. Epiphany Celebration (diving for the cross) & Epiphany Glendi all day
(If you decide to come early for epiphany, the hotel will still honor the discounted price we have for the weekend)

Thursday, January 7th:
4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Registration
7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Poolside Mezedakia
10:00 p.m. Private Club Night at the Wave featuring DJ Maraki (Open Bar until 12:30) - 18+

Friday, January 8th:
9:00 a.m. Breakfast provided in rooms
10:00 a.m. Spend the day on Clearwater Beach with optional activities
1:30 p.m. Lunch at Post Corner Pizza (Across the street from the beach)
4:30 p.m. Shuttles depart for Panigiri at the Silog (Includes cooking lamb outside on souvles while mixed dance groups practice for performances. Optional Cretan dance lessons will be provided.)
8:00 p.m. Dance with musicians, DJ, and mixed dance group performances.

Saturday, January 9th:
11:00 a.m. Meeting
3:00 p.m. Beach Volleyball and optional activities
11:00 a.m. Cretan Formal Dance at the Silogo

Sunday, January 10th
