His talent surfaced when he was 18 and started taking his enthusiasm in music more seriously and professionally. Initially he played at various well known clubs of the capital where he started leaving his mark in the Cyprus club scene and he gradually progressed into being one of the leading DJs of the hippest and most trendy night spots in coastal areas. Currently he’s a member of the Energy 107,6 team, a nationwide radio-station, so make sure you don’t miss his show FRIDAY, SATURDAY and SUNDAY from 19:00 to 20:00. Being a DJ is a pleasure but a responsibility as well, as his main aim is to keep clubbers moving to the beat, a task he faces at several clubs in Cyprus. Tommy G definitely feels the music!!! About DJ Mixalis : Born in Silver Spring , Maryland July 20th 1982 . His Background is Greek-Cypriot. Both Parents were born in the capital of Cyprus - Nicosia. He Started DJ'in Professionally at the early age of 18. He has been making noise in the DC nightlife scene for almost 10 years and has appeared at just about every venue in Washington, DC. He has also been a guest Dj at Many Cities throughout the US - New York , Charlotte, NC , Tampa, Florida , Houston, Texas , Atlantic City , NJ , VA Beach & the list goes on. He is currently working on producing his own tracks and will also be DJ abroad in Europe over the summer. Chances are if you go out in DC you will definately hear DJ Mixalis rocking it at some club as he is just about at every venue in the city. He is currently a Resident DJ for "Prive" Greek Party , "Prive" Euro Editon & "Discoteka" which takes place at Muse Lounge on the 2nd Floor every Saturday at Muse Lounge.
