ABOUT XENIA DASKALOPOULOU
Xenia Daskalopoulou. One of the most promising female DJs and music producers in Greece.
Her career began in 2006, succeeding until today in working as a guest DJ for the biggest clubs of Europe and America. In April 2009, she musically featured the Official Party of Michalis Chatzigiannis in Zurich and then in May Kaufleuten followed, one of the most popular clubs in the Swiss city. The following year, she featured the "Mykonos Party", one of the biggest party events taking place in Zurich and signifying the beginning of the summer season, with more than 3000 people joining it as audience; she meet on it the biggest names of the European music scene: Jamie Lewis, Cem, Muri & Le Noir. Germany and Italy were later added in her assets. In September 2009, we enjoyed her at LIDO Paradise in the “Chic Thursdays” featuring Nickos Chalkousis, Angela Pantelis, Valentino & Maggie Xaralampidou. Also, she worked with Dave Seaman & Gpal. Ant1 97,5FM Radio stood as the driving force for her to express her own point of view on what she calls music. Every Friday and Saturday, a successful radio show, which completed its route in October 2010 after 120 successful shows including mix of hits and outstandingly interesting music, today covers musically FM radio stations of many Greek cities such as Kavala, Ioannina, Alexandroupoli, Evros, as well as Internet radio stations abroad in places such as Mexico. Of great significance, also, was her production for the official online site of Natalia Germanou, as she created its official mix, as well as her cooperation with Christos Dantis in the official remix of the song “Pame gia refrain”. Super Paradise on the island of Mykonos was her next station in 2010 and at this point she became the first female DJ ever who featured it musically. In October 2010, two more performances took place in America: New York & Washington. Wishing to differentiate and give her personal touch in what she calls music and production, she now works for the biggest online magazine of Thessaloniki, RefreshMagazine (www.refreshmagazine.gr). Xenia signs the page "New Vibes", a concept which is framed by interviews with well-known names of the music scene, giving more emphasis to the types of music that each one of them represents and treating it as an art form, really important for her development and her progress as a human. "Music can change the world because it can change people" Bono, U2. Xenia performs in Greece and abroad. You can check out her performances at her official web page, www.xeniadaskalopoulou.com
