St. Demetrios' 38th Annual Greek Festival (Baltimore, MD)
The Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church of Baltimore, MD presents their 38th Annual Greek Festival from September 22 through September 25, 2011 back home at 2504 Cub Hill Road. Come join us in a celebration of life, music, delicious food, faith and friendship when the magic of Greece comes to town. The festival has something to offer for everyone from young and old. Taste the wonderful flavors of Greece, enjoy folk dancing entertainment, listen to traditional Greek music, visit the many shops and explore the rich culture that only Greece has to offer. The Festival will offer the following wonderful features: Authentic Greek Food & Pastries Rain or Shine | Enjoy our New Outdoor Courtyard Live Performances throughout the festival by Apollonia, Bouzouki Nights, DJ Nixtas, DJ NickNakis, The Koko Brothers, and Zephyros Special Thursday 8 PM Performance by Jimmy "Super Greek Santis". After-hours Entertainment beginning at 11 PM Parking $3.00/car
5th Annual AHEPA 286 Crab Feast
Order of AHEPA Chapter 286 is Celebrating our 80th Anniversary as an AHEPA Chapter at our 5th Annual AHEPA Chapter 286 Crab Feast. All proceeds of this event funds our annual Scholarship program which we offer to seniors in High School and to College students in their Freshmen and Jr. years. The event will be held on Sunday September 25th, 2011 from 2pm until 6pm, along side a waterfront proerty at 1052 Old Turkey Point Road in Edgewater, MD 21037. Along with #1 Maryland Crabs, we will be having Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Cheeseburgers, Potato Salad, Cole Slaw, Baked Beans, and Corn on the Cob. We will also be providing Soft Drinks, Ice Tea, Beer, Wine and Coffee with Desert. We will also be holding a 50/50 Raffle at $5.00 each or 6 for $25.00 Donation are $45 per person, Children 7-16 are $30 per person, and children 6 and under are free. Tickets will not be sold at the door, you must by your tickets in advance. All Tickets requested for or purchased after September 18, 2011 will be $60 per person.
