His prolific output has only been matched by his touring schedule, which has included standout performances at Madison Square Garden and the Lincoln Centre (NYC), Queen Elizabeth Hall (London), Berlin Philharmonic, the ancient theatre at Epidavrus and the Glazunov Hall (St. Petersburg). His amalgamation of Cypriot and Greek influences along with byzantine, classical and rock music elements, in addition to his unique vocal delivery, have seen him transcend the confines of the international Greek community and have resulted in a worldwide release and tour in 2012. About Alkinoos Ioannidis Alkinoos Ioannidis was born in Nicosia, Cyprus. He studied classical guitar at the European Conservatory and in 1989 moved to Athens, Greece. He spent the next three years studying theatre at the National Theatre Drama School and philosophy at Athens University. In 1993 he signed to Universal Music, who continues to be his label to this day. As a singer-songwriter, he has released eleven solo albums. Most of them have gone gold or platinum. As a guest singer, he has performed on more than 40 albums with various artists. He has also written songs, arranged and produced albums for other artists, as well as music for dance and theater, while his symphonic work is often performed by orchestras in Greece and abroad. His influences range from traditional Cypriot music, Greek composers of the last decades, Byzantine, Classical and Rock. About Yiorgos Kaloudis Yiorgos Kaloudis, a recipient of the 2002 scholarship from the Fulbright Foundation, developed his personal technique under the guidance of Ted Greene in Los Angeles. He established the "Faros" duo in 2003 with the saxophone player and composer David Lynch and has released 2 albums, 'Truth' in 2005 (DNA LAB_L records) and 'On The Wind' in 2009 with the support of The J. F. Costopoulos Foundation. More recently, influenced by his Cretan background, he has added the Cretan lyra to his performances bringing to it his understanding of cello techniques and also the innovative addition of a fourth string, the cello's low C.
