Third Thursday | The Apokaraokeko Edition | Wok And Roll | February 20, 2014
Join us on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 7 PM at the Chinatown location of
Wok and Roll as Third Thursday celebrates the start of Lent with a special Apokaraokeko
Edition! Due to overwhelming demand, Third Thursday is hosting its first ever
(intentional) karaoke happy hour, and we're doing it up right! We've
reserved a private VIP karaoke room at Wok and Roll from 7 PM to 10 PM so Third
Thursday attendees don't have to wait for a bunch of random folks to sing before
they get their turn! We'll have waitstaff on hand fetching drinks, so our
guests don't miss out on any amazing performances!
Though we normally don't ask for RSVPs for Third Thursday, we need to get an idea
of expected turnout to see which karaoke room to reserve at Wok and Roll (or if
a second room is needed), so please add yourself as "Going" on the Facebook event
or email us at
[email protected] so we know you're coming.

If you have a suggestion on where the next Third Thursday should be, email us at [email protected], join our Facebook group. We would love to hear from you!
Since 2001, Third Thursday has provided Greek-Americans, Greeks, Cypriots, and Philhellenes from the Washington, DC area and beyond the chance to meet every month in a relaxed atmosphere, particularly welcoming those who have moved from different parts of the country for work or school into the greater DC area Greek community. With visits to a variety of bars, restaurants, and lounges in the most vibrant neighborhoods of DC, Maryland, and Virginia, Third Thursday is a great way to catch up with old friends and make new ones in the Greek community. As it now embarks on its third iteration since its founding, we promise to maintain the simple principles of its founders, while expanding the event to an ever-changing audience of Greeks in the area. We look forward to seeing you -- or meeting you for the first time -- at the next Third Thursday.
