St. Sophia's YAL Discussion & Dinner with Fr. Dimitri (Teaching Liturgy: Part II)

When: Thursday January 8, 2015
6:30 PM to 8:30 PM
Where: St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral
2815 36th St NW
Washington, DC  20007
Minimum Age: 18

In continuation of our largest faith-based discussion of 2014, Fr. Dimitri will join us once again to further explore the symbolism of the Divine Liturgy. In October, 2014 we had over 40 YAL members join us in an in depth discussion about the preparation of Holy Communion and the meaning behind a Greek Orthodox priest’s liturgical vestments. Due to popular demand, Fr. Dimitri will continue his Teaching Liturgy by delving into other aspects of the Divine Liturgy we did not have time for previously.

Dinner will begin at 6:30 PM and the Discussion will start at 7:00 PM.

As part of YAL's four-pronged mission, "Worship/Witness" helps us better understand our own faith and ideally help others understand as well. Hope you can join us!
