St. Katherine's Saturday of Lazarus Feed the Homeless Project

When: Friday April 3, 2015
6:30 PM
Where: Meletis Charuhas Center at St. Katherine's
3145 Glen Carlyn Road
Falls Church, VA  22041

On Saturday of Lazarus, April 4, 2015, as part of its annual Lenten community outreach, St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church will help feed the homeless by distributing prepared bagged meals to the homeless in Washington, DC.

Preparation of the bagged meals will take place the evening before, on Friday April 3, 2015, in the kitchen of the Meletis Charuhas Center at St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church at approximately 6:30 PM. (Time may be subject to change.)

Early on Saturday morning (exact time TBD, but plan for 7:00 AM) we will depart from St. Katherine and go to various points throughout the District and distribute food to the homeless. Once all the food is distributed we will return to the Church for the Saturday of Lazarus Divine Liturgy.

All YAL members are encouraged to attend and participate in this most needed and important annual event in the life of Saint Katherine Greek Orthodox Church. Please contact Daphne at [email protected] or Fr. Panagiotis at [email protected] for more information if needed, and check back here for updates and further information as well.
