On Saturday of Lazarus, April 4, 2015, as part of its annual Lenten community outreach, St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church will help feed the homeless by distributing prepared bagged meals to the homeless in Washington, DC. Preparation of the bagged meals will take place the evening before, on Friday April 3, 2015, in the kitchen of the Meletis Charuhas Center at St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church at approximately 6:30 PM. (Time may be subject to change.) Early on Saturday morning (exact time TBD, but plan for 7:00 AM) we will depart from St. Katherine and go to various points throughout the District and distribute food to the homeless.
