Third Thursday Greek Young Professionals Happy Hour
18th Anniversary Edition
Prequel
October 17, 2019
Join us on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at 7:00 PM at Prequel in Washington, DC as the Third Thursday Greek Young Professionals Happy Hour series celebrates its 18th anniversary of monthly happy hours! As a happy hour series which visits bars of varying concepts each month, we thought it fitting to visit a venue whose premise is to give chefs a platform to try out new concepts as well, with pop-ups that can last from a night to three months!
Located on 19th Street between I and K Sts in Northwest, Prequel features a drink menu with the largest barrel-aged cocktail selection in DC, as well as a mix of innovative, modern cocktails, timeless classics, wine, and locally sourced beers. Its current pop-ups are Pintxos Piratas and Juntos Mexican Eats from chef Alex Gudiel, featuring a creative Mexican take on pintxos (affordably priced bar snacks originating in the Basque Country of northern Spain), street tacos, quesadillas, and more!

Since 2001, Third Thursday has provided Greek-Americans, Greeks, Cypriots, and Philhellenes from the Washington, DC area and beyond the chance to meet every month in a relaxed atmosphere, particularly welcoming those who have moved from different parts of the country for work or school into the greater DC area Greek community. With visits to a variety of bars, restaurants, and lounges in the most vibrant neighborhoods of DC, Maryland, and Virginia, Third Thursday is a great way to catch up with old friends and make new ones in the Greek community. We strive to maintain the simple principles of its founders while expanding the event to an ever-changing audience of Greeks in the area. We look forward to seeing you -- or meeting you for the first time -- at the next Third Thursday.
