An Important Message from the Cretan Association of Greater Washington, D.C.

Due to unforeseen logistical issues brought about by the snowstorm earlier this week, coupled with concerns about the impending snowfall forecasted for Friday evening/Saturday morning, its unpredictable effect on road conditions, and the associated safety of the attendees, we the Executive Board of the Cretan Association of Greater Washington, D.C. made the very difficult decision last night to cancel tomorrow's Cretan Night at St. George in Bethesda, MD. Unfortunately, we are therefore unable to contribute to the originating purpose of the fundraiser, which is a huge disappointment, not only for us as organizers, but for the performers, ticket buyers, friends, and family who supported this worthwhile cause!

For those of you who purchased tickets, while we are prepared to offer a full refund of your ticket purchase back to your account, we would like to give the you the option to forego some or all of your refund if you still wish to support the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit in Heraklion, Crete. You should have received an email from [email protected] with a link to your original invoice along with the total amount you paid for this purchase. Please reply to this email by Sunday Night, 1/12/2025, and indicate one of the following choices:

  • Full Refund
  • Partial Refund (Please specify the amount you wish to donate and how much you want refunded.)
  • No Refund

If we do not hear back from you by 8:00 PM on Sunday Night, we will proceed to issue you a full refund.

A makeup event will be planned prior to the start of Lent, and we look forward to seeing all of you then.

As always, thank you for your support, and patience.

Thank you,

The Executive Board of the Cretan Association of Greater Washington, D.C.
