Join us for an evening of fun and entertainment Bring your family, friends (and your tavli ) and enjoy delicious mezedes, ouzo, wine, sweets and Greek coffee in a relaxed and friendly setting with live Greek music by the talented bouzouki player Achilleas and Compania This will be a glendi dedicated to the traditional Greek Komboloi. As we all know, komboloi is part of our culture; it is said to have many, many magical qualities and a lot of people hold it to pass time (and maybe worries) especially when they are around a kafenio environment. So, let us re-live this interesting tradition by bringing along our own komboloia for exhibit and show and tell. We plan to make a brief presentation about komboloi and sing (together with Achilleas) all the songs about it. As always, there will also be the Greek Books Tableto visit and look at interesting books (you may also bring your own books for display as well). No one should miss this event. There will be a lot of fun. Plan to be there!
