There is a desperate need for blood for a Greek-American young adult in our community who will be having extensive surgery on Tuesday, December 28, 2004 at Fairfax Hospital. All those with A and O blood types are urged to visit the Woodburn Donor Center as soon as possible to donate blood.
Please contact 703-470-3971 to receive further details to ensure that your donation is designated for his surgery.
Those with other blood types or who are unable to make it to Fairfax in the next few days are still encouraged to give blood this holiday season.
