Join us for a night of wine tasting and sampling of the unique Greek Cuisine at Mourayo.
Our $ 35.00/person (tax & gratuity not included) menu for the evening will be as follows:

  • First Course
    • Melitzana Salata (roasted eggplant, garlic, tomatoes, feta)
    • Wine: Ode Panos, Spiropoulos, sparkling wine: Organically grown, from moschofilero grapes. Medium to large bubbles. Subdued fruit on the nose.
  • Second Course
    • Kavouropita (fresh crabmeat & manouri cheese phyllo pie)
  • Third Course
    • Garides me Elies (orange flavored shrimp grilled with olive and orange salad)
    • Wine: Boutari, Mantinia, Moschofilero (white): The "in" wine of Greece. Moschofilero is a large pink grape which best grows in the area of Central Penoponisos.  Aromatic nose reminiscent of flowers. Ripe fruit on the palate.
  • Fourth Course
    • Solomos me Tzatziki (fresh salmon grilled over tzatziki)
    • Wine: Gaia, 14/18, Agiorgitiko (Rose): Deep vibrant color. Nose & palate reminiscent of rose tips.
  • Fifth Course
    • Giouvetsi (diced lamb stew with orzo)
    • Wine: Papadonis Meden Agan (red): Just like it says on the label, the wine has nothing in excess. Full bodied, essence of ripe forest fruits, cherry blossoms and black forest "garrique".
  • Sixth Course
    • Karidopita (walnut cake served with walnut preserves)
