On Monday, October 10th, at 7:30pm, the St. Katherine YAL will be hosting their monthly Sandwich-making Charity event for the Homeless. Please bring a loaf or two of sandwich bread and two or three packages of deli meats and cheeses. Sandwich-making will take place in the kitchen of the new hall. For the past two months, we have made close to 400 sandwiches each month. Please help us surpass this level this month. All sandwiches are donated to the Bailey's Crossroads Community Shelter for Men and Women.
After sandwich-making, you can join the YAL at a local restaurant for dinner/happy hour. After last month's very successful turnout at Bailey's for Monday Night Football, it has been decided that this month's location will be Ladies' Choice. Please RSVP with your preference for which restaurant that you want to go to as soon as possible so that we can make reservations!
(Please note that the option of playing basketball after sandwich making will not be available this evening, as the gym will still be filled with tables and chairs from the festival.)
