October's Third Thursday event is October 20th, 2005 (7 pm) at Tapatinis on Barracks Row on 711 Eighth St. SE, Washington, DC. The area is DC's latest trendy area and it is around the corner from Easter Market & the Capitol Hill area. Tapatinis's highlights include Mediterranean Tapas, flavored cocktails, and a very cool interior. The kitchen will be open until 10 pm (menu online), & we've gotten happy hour extended to 9 pm, where all martinis (premium liquor) are just $5.00. At 9 pm a bottle of Ketel One Citron will be opened up and given out free until the bottle empties. Hope to see you all there and please tell your friends. It really is that simple. Whether you are in school or in a job, or somewhere in between, DC native or transplant, you are welcome. You don't even have to live in the area -- If you find yourself often in DC, get on the list. Attendees run the gamut from Grad Students to CEOs, Artists to Scientists, and Retail to Ivory Tower. Add yourself to the mix. There is no cover charge and the organizers, Eleni Antzoulatos & George Papanicolaou, do not receive any remuneration for their efforts. Don't Drink and Drive!
