The Saint Katherine YAL will be hosting their monthly Sandwich-making for the Homeless on Monday, February 13th, at 7:30pm in the kitchen of the new hall. Please bring two or three loaves of sandwich bread, and two or three packages of deli meats and cheeses. Afterward, we will all go to a restaurant for dinner as a group.
In the last 2 months we made and donated close to 1500 sandwiches to the homeless shelter! There are so many people in our community who are less fortunate than us and they depend each month on the sandwiches that we make and donate to the shelter.
We have been averaging about 15-20 YAL members each month at Sandwich-making. There are quite a few new members in the Saint Katherine YAL and every month someone new shows up. The Saint Katherine YAL has been hosting sandwich-making every month for over seven years now. This event is a great way to meet new people and get acquainted with old friends, and we go to a different restaurant each month. (Last month's location was Rock Bottom Brewery in Ballston.)
