“We are deeply indebted to these two champions of Greek American issues,” said James.  “Both men have served their constituents with integrity, pride, and compassion and they will be sorely missed.  The evening will represent a salute for outstanding and distinguished public and community service.”

James also announced that Mr. George Stephanopoulos, host of ABC News’ This Week will be the Master of Ceremonies for the gala affair. He added that Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Ambassador R. Nicholas Burns and His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios have agreed to be on the speaking program.
