Wow, this has been a cool summer so far. Whether you blame Global Warming, Soviet-Style Industrial Policy bringing a Siberian chill, or going commando in a foustanella, you’re hoping for a little heat coming our way.  Third Thursday (7/16) is steppin’ it up by bring a little heat to the cool new Lebanese Taverna in Bethesda. Mezes, a great bar, and an open environment at the bar to show of tans, plan a mini-vacation, and find out what’s what. The event starts at 7 pm.

On the corner of Elm & Arlington Streets in “Bethesda Row,” aka the Bethesda for people who don’t do Bethesda.

If you have a suggestion on where the next Third Thursday should be, email us at [email protected] or call 202 683 8842. We would love to hear from you!

See you Third Thursday,

Eleni, George, and Tia

Third Thursday provides young (single and married) Greek-Americans, Greeks, and Cypriots in the DC area a chance to meet in an informal setting. It really is that simple. Whether you are in school or in a job, or somewhere in between, DC native or transplant, you are welcome.

You don't even have to live in the area -- If you find yourself often in DC, get on the list. Add yourself to the mix. There is no cover charge and the organizers, Eleni A., George P., and Tia L. do not receive any remuneration for their efforts. Don't Drink and Drive!
