is Excellency Andreas S. Kakouris is Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cyprus to the United States. Ambassador Kakouris, who presented his credentials to President George W. Bush on December 8, 2006, is concurrently accredited as High Commissioner of Cyprus to Canada. On September 30, 2009 you will have an opportunity to hear Ambassador Kakouris discuss these and other important issues about the future of Cyprus. Location: McShain Lounge (Southwest Quad) From the university's main entrance at 37th and O streets, NW: Walk through the main gates past the statue of John Carroll. Turn left, toward the library - a contemporary gray structure - at the end of the lawn. Once you reach the library, turn right and walk down the road. You will be walking down a steep hill. At the bottom of the hill, cross the street and the entrance to McShain Lounge is slightly in front of you and to the right. There are double doors with bike racks on either side.
