The Greek Heritage Society of Southern California (GHS) is proud to announce the premiere of part 2 of its documentary series, "The Greeks of Southern California Through the Century:  The Promise of Tomorrow 1940-1960."  It will premiere on Thursday evening, November 12, 2009, at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in Beverly Hills, California.

"The Promise of Tomorrow," narrated by the award-winning actress Olympia Dukakis, will tell the universal story of the Greek American experience as seen through the eyes of the First Generation Greek Americans who were raised in Southern California.  They changed the face of our community.  COME LIVE THE STORY!

Our Master of Ceremonies for the evening will be the distinguished actor, John Aniston.
