July, 2010's Third Thursday will be held at La Tasca in the Clarendon neighborhood of Arlington, VA. La Tasca features over 45 Spanish tapas, a large variety of Spanish wines, and a dozen speciality sangrias, all in a magnificent two-story restaurant with soaring wrought iron staircases and railings.

Since October 2001, Third Thursday has provided Greek-Americans, Greeks, Cypriots, and Philhellenes from the DC area and beyond the chance every month to meet other Greek-Americans in a relaxed atmosphere, particularly welcoming Greek Americans who have moved from different parts of the country for work or school into the greater Greek community in the DC area. With visits to a variety of bars, restaurants, and lounges in the most vibrant neighborhoods of DC, Maryland, and Virginia, Third Thursday is a great way to catch up with old friends and make new ones in the Greek community. As it now embarks on its third iteration since its founding, we promise to maintain the simple principles of its founders while expanding the event to an ever-changing audience of Greek Americans in the area. We look forward to seeing you -- or meeting you for the first time -- at the next Third Thursday.
