The Baltimore-Piraeus Sister City Committee was founded in 1982 to promote cultural and business exchanges between the port cities of Baltimore, USA and Piraeus, Greece. The committee’s programs include business and community interaction, technical assistance, cultural exchanges, citizens’ visits, etc. The committee operates through the Baltimore Mayor's Office of International & Immigrant Affairs and is a not-for-profit organization.
