Homeland
Written and Directed by Syllas Tzoumerkas

HOMELAND follows three generations of a Greek family torn apart over an inter-family adoption. At the center is Stergios, an angry young man who was raised alone by his unstable mother, Gena, after she gave up his brother Thanos for adoption within the family. Years later, in the present day, both brothers are grown up and, family tensions threaten to explode as the country itself comes apart at the seams. Riots erupt in the streets, marking the beginning of a profound crisis in Greece not only financially but also psychologically.
