National Hellenic Museum Presentation by Connie Mourtoupalas, NHM President

Connie Mourtoupalas, President of the National Hellenic Museum (NHM) in Chicago, Illinois, will make a presentation on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 7pm in Founder's Hall at Saint Katherine Greek Orthodox Church. She will talk about the fascinating and diverse programs of the Museum and discuss the importance of documenting, preserving and sharing the 150 year presence of Greeks in America.

John Anagostopoulos, the Museum’s Library and Oral History Manager, will discuss the Oral History Project, which is among the museum’s most popular programs, and is being offered to interested participants from our area during this period.


The National Hellenic Museum is America's national institution for documenting, preserving and sharing an important part of America's heritage, the history and legacy of pioneering and contemporary Greek Americans, while showcasing their rich Hellenic heritage and its profound impact on the western world.
