YAL Discussion - What Does It Mean To Be An Orthodox Christian?

Thursday, May 8th, 2014
7:00 PM
Saint Sophia Youth Room

Please join us for a special discussion with Father Dimitri, plus FREE dinner! As part of YAL's four-pronged mission, "Witness" helps us better understand and transmit our faith to others.

Has a friend or colleague ever asked you what it means to be a Christian, or even an Orthodox Christian? How did you answer them? If you're like us, this can be sometimes harder to explain than one might think. How do you explain the creation, God, salvation, Good vs. Evil, the life and ministry of Jesus Christ, and why He died for us all to save us from our sins?

This topic was repeatedly brought up from your survey results and was the most requested follow-up discussion topic from the YAL Retreat! Hope you can join us!

Please RSVP to [email protected] by Thursday, May 1st, 2014.
