Third Thursday | The
Exchange | March 17, 2016
Join us on
March 17, 2016 at 7:00 PM as Third Thursday takes in the first full day of the
NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament at The Exchange, DC's oldest sports saloon!
Located steps from the White House, Greek-owned The Exchange features 26 HDTV monitors located throughout three dining rooms, a 6 foot by 4 foot drop down screen Hi-Def projection TV, and state of the art sound system perfect for
catching all the day's action. Some of you may remember The Exchange as
the host of DCGreeks.com's World
Cup 2014 Watch Party Episode I: Greece vs. Colombia back in June 2014. We
fully realize that this Third Thursday happens to fall on St. Patrick's Day, so
those of you looking to get a drink while avoiding the madness of an Irish bar
are more than welcome to sport some green and join us.

If you have a suggestion on where the next Third Thursday should be, email us at
[email protected], join our Facebook group. We would love to hear from you!
Since 2001, Third Thursday has provided Greek-Americans, Greeks, Cypriots,
and Philhellenes from the Washington, DC area and beyond the chance to meet every
month in a relaxed atmosphere, particularly welcoming those who have moved from
different parts of the country for work or school into the greater DC area Greek
community. With visits to a variety of bars, restaurants, and lounges in the
most vibrant neighborhoods of DC, Maryland, and Virginia, Third Thursday is a great
way to catch up with old friends and make new ones in the Greek community.
As it now embarks on its 15th year since its founding, we promise to maintain the
simple principles of its founders, while expanding the event to an ever-changing
audience of Greeks in the area. We look forward to seeing you -- or meeting
you for the first time -- at the next Third Thursday.
