Join us on May 18, 2017 at 7:00 PM as Third Thursday visits its first ever working package brewery and takes in its first trivia night at New District Brewing Co. in the Shirlington neighborhood of Arlington, VA. Opened in 2016 by Mike Katrivanos, brewmaster Dan Murray, and friends, New District Brewing Co. is the first distribution brewery Arlington County since 1916. As it's not an actual bar/restaurant, those wishing to eat while they drink one of New District's year round, seasonal, or special release brews can bring their own take out.
Thursdays at New District Brewing Co. are Trivia Nights from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM. Prizes and pride to be handed out to the winning teams. (Trivia Nights are sometimes themed, so be sure to check their Facebook page if you’d like to study a little beforehand!)
Bring your own squad or join [email protected] (who are no slouches when it comes to trivia.) To top it all off, they have Happy Hour specials from 3:30 PM - 7:30 PM and all 64oz growler fills are $2 off (32oz growler fills are $1 off) all night.

New District Brewing Co. is a short walk from the Village at Shirlington which offers five parking garages and a surface lot.
Limited street parking is also available on S Four Mile Run Dr. and S Oakland St. Check the posted signs.

Since 2001, Third Thursday has provided Greek-Americans, Greeks, Cypriots,
and Philhellenes from the Washington, DC area and beyond the chance to meet every
month in a relaxed atmosphere, particularly welcoming those who have moved from
different parts of the country for work or school into the greater DC area Greek
community. With visits to a variety of bars, restaurants, and lounges in the
most vibrant neighborhoods of DC, Maryland, and Virginia, Third Thursday is a great
way to catch up with old friends and make new ones in the Greek community.
As it now embarks on its 16th year since its founding, we strive to maintain the
simple principles of its founders, while expanding the event to an ever-changing
audience of Greeks in the area. We look forward to seeing you -- or meeting
you for the first time -- at the next Third Thursday.
