Join us on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at the rooftop of Ozio from 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM as the Third Thursday Greek Young Professionals Happy Hour supports crisis relief and economic development efforts in Greece at The Hellenic Initiative's Inaugural D.C. New Leaders Cocktail Reception.  Come network with an international group of Greek and Philhellene professionals 21-40 years of age in the DC area and beyond who actively believe in investing in the future of Greece through direct philanthropy and economic revitalization. 

While our Third Thursday Greek Young Professionals happy hours are typically free, pay-as-you-go affairs, this special fundraising cocktail reception with The Hellenic Initiative features a two-hour open bar from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM and appetizers all night, with discounted advanced purchase tickets available online starting at $75 per person!  All net proceeds help support The Hellenic Initiative's crisis relief and entrepreneurship and economic development efforts in Greece.

About The Hellenic Initiative

The Hellenic Initiative (THI) is a global not-for-profit that invests in entrepreneurial programs based in Greece, lending additional support to local NGOs that support economic development and crisis relief for underserved Greek communities. We’ve also helped fund so many things that make me feel proud, though there is always more to do. About Third Thursday

Since 2001, Third Thursday has provided Greek-Americans, Greeks, Cypriots, and Philhellenes from the Washington, DC area and beyond the chance to meet every month in a relaxed atmosphere, particularly welcoming those who have moved from different parts of the country for work or school into the greater DC area Greek community.  With visits to a variety of bars, restaurants, and lounges in the most vibrant neighborhoods of DC, Maryland, and Virginia, Third Thursday is a great way to catch up with old friends and make new ones in the Greek community. We strive to maintain the simple principles of its founders while expanding the event to an ever-changing audience of Greeks in the area.  We look forward to seeing you -- or meeting you for the first time -- at the next Third Thursday.
