The 2019 AHEPA National Basketball Tournament will be held in Chicago from July 5-6, 2019.

• It will coincide with the AHEPA National Convention which will be held at the Palmer House Hotel from July 1 - 6.
• The AHEPA/Men’s Division will be played at the University of Illinois-Chicago (UIC) Athletic Complex, which houses four regulation-size, wood floor courts. The Sons/HS games will be held at St. Andrew’s Greek Orthodox Church in Chicago, just 15 minutes from the hotel and UIC college campus.
• The two divisions will include the Sons/HS group from ages 14 – 18 and the AHEPA/Collegiate group from ages 18 and over. Games will start on Friday, early afternoon and run through Saturday late afternoon.
• Hotel reservations can be made in the AHEPA Convention block at the Chicago Palmer House at the discounted rate of $159 per night.
• Entry fee per team is $300. Each player participating will receive a free t-shirt. Teams will play a minimum of two games with a possibility of three, based on the number of teams participating.

Please spread the word to your athletes, teams, leagues and communities. Anyone interested should contact Costa Papademetriou (AHEPA National Basketball Director), Themistocles Chronis (DCGreeks.com/GreekLeague.com), or John Venetos ASAP, in order to enter a team. We must know in advance how many teams to expect so we can prepare accordingly.
