When two compelling voices meet, the result is nothing but explosive!

Greece’s timeless vocalist and interpreter Alkistis Protopsalti and the outstanding artist Dimitris Mpasis, combine their voices in a musical program that is nothing less than the "BEST OF GREECE".

A concert tribute of the most beloved and enduring songs in the history of Greek discography. Most selections were composed by two "giants" of the Greek composers, Mikis Theodorakis and Stavros Xarhakos and will be interpreted by two powerful and impassioned voices.

Alkistis Protopsalti has commanded the musical stage for more than 45 years and has proven to be a rare breed of Greek artist that enjoys a following of three generations! She has performed the world over sharing and thus broadening the understanding of Greek music and culture with international audiences. For this has been called a "Cultural Ambassador" of Greece.

Dimitris Mpasis, who 30 years ago began his career alongside Alkistis Protopsalti, (making this performance a sentimental journey for both), has established himself as one of Greece’s most prominent vocalists of the younger generation. He stands apart not only for his exceptional voice but also for his professional and artistic ethos.

The meeting between Alkistis and Dimitri indeed promises the "Best of Greece" both in artistic presentation and repertoire. The program will be based on the songs of Greece’s most accomplished composers, some of the newer generation as well and of course, some selections from the two artists’ personal discography.

Special sponsor level seating is available upon request. For sponsor level seating please contact Emmanuel Theoharis at (410) 790-7542 or John Sfakianoudis at (443) 797-3534.
