Third Thursday Greek Young Professionals Happy Hour
Special Post-Paschal Fourth Thursday Edition
Bar Angie
April 24, 2025

Join us on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 7:00 PM as the Third Thursday Greek Young Professionals Happy Hour series visits newly-opened Bar Angie in the West End of Washington, DC for our customary Post-Paschal Fourth Thursday Edition when Third Thursday falls during Holy Week! The latest Greek-owned offering from the boys who brought you Balos, Bar Angie is a chic, day-to-night bistro inspired by classic New York establishments, offering a menu of hearty bistro dishes with Mediterranean and European flair. Enjoy their signature cocktails, including martinis, and indulge in dishes like the Wagyu French Dip or Lobster Frites.

While we normally don't ask for RSVPs, Bar Angie does have some space limitations. That said, please message us on social or email us at [email protected] to RSVP, even if you're a maybe, as we'd like to get them a projected headcount a couple of days before the event.

Since 2001, Third Thursday has provided Greek-Americans, Greeks, Cypriots, and Philhellenes from the Washington, DC area and beyond the chance to meet every month in a relaxed atmosphere, particularly welcoming those who have moved from different parts of the country for work or school into the greater DC area Greek community. With visits to a variety of bars, restaurants, and lounges in the most vibrant neighborhoods of DC, Maryland, and Virginia, Third Thursday is a great way to catch up with old friends and make new ones in the Greek community. We strive to maintain the simple principles of its founders while expanding the event to an ever-changing audience of Greeks in the area. We look forward to seeing you -- or meeting you for the first time -- at the next Third Thursday.
