Personal Statement:

I am from Arlington. I spent 17 years in Los Angeles and now I am back in the area. My grandparents were both born in Corfu. I went once after college, then did not go back until 2011. I was there for 4 months and have been back 3 times since then for a total of 9 months. I applied for citizenship last year and hope to have that soon. This last summer I took my motorcycle from Corfu into Zagoria then all across Greece and back. I hit, Meteora, Delphi, Athens, Crete, Santrorini, Naxos, Mykonos, and Patras. It was the best 17 days of my life! I am currently learning more greek, now I can only order food and say hello etc. It is tough because most people speak english there. This summer I have decided I will not speak english at all. It would be great to meet some cool people to practice greek with and discuss traveling in Greece.
